Terms of Use

1. Agreement

By downloading or using Master Han (the "App"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be 17 years or older to use the App. The optional social matching feature (hidden in the current version) requires you to be 18 or older. By using the App you confirm you meet these requirements.

3. Entertainment only — no professional advice

Master Han provides content based on Korean Saju (사주), Five Elements (오행), face reading (관상), compatibility (궁합), auspicious-date picking (택일), naming (작명), and daily fortune, for entertainment and self-reflection only. You acknowledge and agree that:

• The App does not make definitive predictions about the future and does not guarantee any outcome. Readings are offered as one perspective for understanding yourself, your relationships, and the choices in front of you.
• It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or investment advice, and must not be relied on for such decisions.
• Readings are AI-generated interpretations and may be inaccurate or inconsistent.
• You are always responsible for your own decisions. The App will never tell you that a choice is removed from you.

Do not use the App as a substitute for professional help. If you are in crisis or thinking about self-harm, contact your local emergency number or a crisis helpline immediately. The App may show a supportive message directing you to help, but it is not a crisis service.

4. Accounts

You may use the App as an anonymous guest or sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account and associated data at any time at Profile → Delete Account.

5. Subscriptions, purchases & billing

• The App offers auto-renewing subscriptions, one-time report unlocks, and Fortune Passes — consumable credits used for conversations with Master Han. Prices are shown in the App.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID → Subscriptions settings.
• Subscriptions include a Fortune Pass allowance granted per billing cycle. Passes are consumable: once used they are spent, unused passes do not carry over or transfer between accounts, and they have no cash value.
• Entitlements are managed via Apple and RevenueCat.
• Except where required by law or Apple's policies, purchases are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by Apple. Where a purchase is refunded, we may reverse the Fortune Passes or unlocks it granted.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse or attempt to disrupt the service; reverse-engineer or abuse the API or free-tier limits; upload unlawful content or photos of people without their consent; or use the App to harass others or for any unlawful purpose.

Face compatibility requires a second person's photo. You confirm you have that person's permission before uploading it.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the questions and inputs you provide, including names you submit to the Naming feature. You grant us a limited license to process them solely to provide and store your readings as described in the Privacy Policy. Face photos are analyzed and deleted, never stored (see Privacy Policy §4).

Name candidates generated by the App are suggestions only. We do not check them for trademark availability or legal registrability, and we make no claim of ownership over them.

8. Intellectual property

The App, its design, text, icons, and the "Master Han" persona are owned by the operator or its licensors and are protected by law. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any warranty of accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision you make based on a reading. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim (or the minimum permitted by law).

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the service. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; we will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide in-app notice. Continued use means acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes are subject to the competent courts under the Korean Civil Procedure Act, unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
